How it works

How Verazyn works — in plain language

Some parts of your work are not optional. A contract has to contain certain clauses. Marketing cannot promise something the product does not do. Code has to meet the standard your team agreed on. Verazyn calls these rules. Right now most of them live in people's heads and in documents nobody re-reads, so whoever relies on the work simply has to trust it. Verazyn works alongside the people and tools you already have: it finds the rules that apply, checks the work against them, helps fix what does not match, and keeps the evidence of what it found. Nothing goes out unchecked — whether a person, a system, or an AI produced it.

Verazyn rides alongside whatever you already use to do the work — it is not the thing that does your job for you.

How it works

You set the rules. Verazyn checks the work. You keep the proof.

  1. 1. Set your rules

Author your standing rules once — or import the ones you already keep in files. No version-control system required; Verazyn keeps its own change history.

A rule is a clear expectation the work must meet — for example, ‘customer-facing figures must name their source.’ Verazyn checks that expectation and shows the evidence.

  2. 2. Retrieve what's relevant

As you work, Verazyn brings the rules that apply to what you're doing to hand — and to any AI you use — so the right standards are always in reach.

  3. 3. Check the output

Fixed checks give a clear pass or fail, because they answer the same way every time; judgment checks add a senior-reviewer lens. If a check can't run, the result is marked Unverified — an honest state, never a silent pass.

  4. 4. Repair or review

A fix can be applied, proposed for you to accept, or routed to a person to decide — you choose who applies the fix.

  5. 5. Carry the proof

Every piece of work Verazyn checks gets a trust passport: what was checked, the versions, the verdicts, and whether it's safe to move forward.

Memory of the rules

In progress

The standing rules of your work are checked and enforced wherever the work comes from.

Memory of the work itself

In progress

Known Work / Project Memory keeps a persistent memory of what already exists, so nobody — person or assistant — rebuilds or contradicts it.

What Verazyn is — and is not

Think of Verazyn as a controller you hire to watch one defined part of your work. It does not do the work, and it does not manage the people who do. It watches what they produce, checks it against the rules you set, says clearly when something does not line up, and keeps the proof. You stay accountable — Verazyn makes what happened checkable.

Today it checks written work: documents, code, messages, reports — whoever or whatever produced them, a person, a system, or an AI.

It is designed to widen from there to the other things a company has to trust: transactions, contracts, metrics, identity changes, records, support cases, files, security events, and human attestations. Those are designed and documented, not built yet — the features page marks what is ready.

It is not the AI itself. What it checks is the work, not the thing that produced it.

It is not a replacement for human review — it makes human review faster and better-evidenced.

It does not guarantee complete adherence — it makes adherence checkable and every gap visible.

It is not a compliance/GRC platform — it maps evidence toward frameworks, it does not certify you.

Project hierarchy (Organization → Workspace → Project)

In progress

The organization, workspace and project structure that everything else in Verazyn is filed under.

Auto rule generation (verazyn init)

Planned

Reads a project's own files and existing settings, then suggests rules it can show evidence for — none of which take effect until a person approves them.

Learn more→

Selective retrieval (deterministic + embeddings)

In progress

Picks out only the rules that matter for what is being checked, within a set budget, so no check is ever sent everything.

Learn more→

Deterministic verification

In progress

Checks that reach an answer without asking an AI anything, so they give the same result every time — the built-in check types, plus a sealed space for your own.

Learn more→

LLM-as-judge verification

Available

The AI-powered check, used only for questions a fixed check cannot answer, and always with the evidence behind its verdict.

Learn more→

Project Memory — extraction & freshness

Available

Reads a project's own files and turns them into remembered entries automatically, marking one out of date when the file behind it changes.

Learn more→

Project Memory — retrieval & MCP injection

Available

Finds the remembered decisions that matter right now and puts them in front of whoever is doing the work — person or AI — with no AI call needed to do the finding.

Collaboration, dashboard, review inbox & notifications

In progress

The shared screens a team works from together, which by their nature run on a server rather than on one person's machine.

Server-side search & filter for listable resources

Planned

One shared, index-backed way to search and filter every list in Verazyn, so no list is sifted through in the browser.
